Introduction: What is a cookie?
Session cookies are temporary cookies that are stored in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the Website.
Manage cookies in your browser
Use the options in your web browser if you do not want to receive cookies or if you want to set your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie. You can easily delete and manage cookies installed in the cookie folder of your browser by following the instructions of your browser’s creator.
– Google Chrome
– Internet Explorer

– Safari (Mobile)
– Android Browser
– Opera Mobile
If your browser is not in this list, you can consult the documentation of your specific browser supplier. You can also refer to your mobile device’s documentation for information on how to disable cookies on your mobile device. If you disable all cookies, you may not be able to use all of the features of this Website.
In addition, Koks from Spain can also provide employers with a code for a conversion tracker for the Website. This tracker picks up web beacons for jobseekers and keeps track of data when a jobseeker applies for a vacancy via the employer’s website. Each time a job seeker starts a search on Cooks from Spain, this conversion tracker assigns a job application to Cooks from Spain, regardless of any other activities that may take place in between. Cooks from Spain have no access to the cookies in the domain of the employer. The conversion tracker is simply a counter that sends a message to Koks from Spain when a job seeker has applied. If a job seeker has disabled web beacon, the conversion tracker will not work.
Koks from Spain uses the AdWords functions and remarketing lists of Google Analytics for advertisers in the Display Network. Cooks from Spain and Google use domain cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and external cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to create, optimize and display advertisements based on previous visits to our Website. This means that suppliers, including Google, display promotional material from Koks in Spain on other websites you visit on the Internet.
You may opt-out of Google Analytics for advertisers in the Display Network, including AdWords, and custom Google Display Network Advertisements through Google’s Advertising Preferences Management. In order to give website visitors more options regarding the collection of their data by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Opt-out Browser Add-on, which is available via Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Here you can unsubscribe from Google’s programs.
The following table of cookies contains a selection of external cookies used on Cooks from Spain. Although we may update this list on a regular basis, you should be aware that the names of cookies, pixels and other technologies may change.

In addition, as part of the standard operation of the Website, Koks from Spain may collect and analyse information about your computer or mobile device and the actions you take on the Website, including, but not limited to, your CV, your searches of Cooks from Spain, the job titles you search for, select or respond to, where these vacancies are located, desired salary or experience, the general salary scale or level of experience of the vacancies viewed (if indicated), the time you spend on the Website and on each page, page visits, clicks or taps, session activity, browser type, operating system, type of device, MAC address, IP address and the domain name from which you visited the Website.
– When you provide Employer Information
If you are an Employer, Koks from Spain may request you to provide certain Personal Information in order to verify your account. This information may include, but is not limited to, your Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN), business registration number, the name and email address of an Employer’s representative.
This information is only used for internal purposes, with the exception of requests from the police or a court order. We also collect payment information (e.g., the last four digits of credit card numbers and associated verification information) for payment services. Please note that Cooks from Spain only has access to the last four digits of the Employer’s credit card numbers and does not store the full number.
2.2 Data collected from cooks in Spain when applying for vacancies or visiting cooks from Spain from external websites
– When applying for a job on certain external websites
Spanish chefs may also collect information about websites and web pages that you visit using our mobile software or if you use Spanish chefs for Chrome, including external websites and web pages. We do this in order to enable the Job Seeker to keep an overview of certain interesting Vacancies, to find an application form on an external website, to offer a Job Seeker the possibility to automatically fill out parts of this form with Cooks from Spain CV, or to confirm an application. With Chefs from Spain for Chrome, Chefs from Spain can also collect information about the types of vacancies and product positions of Chefs from Spain that you find interesting. In this way, we can improve job searches, job recommendations and product jobs for you.
By visiting Cooks from Spain through your Facebook or Google account, you indicate that Facebook or Google will share certain information as set out in the above paragraph to verify you, so that you can use the Website safely. You can stop this at any time via your Facebook or Google account. This information is considered Koks from Spain account information for your use of the Website.
You can disconnect the link between your Facebook or Google account and your Cooks from Spain account at any time via the privacy settings of your Facebook or Google account. Facebook may also ask you for permission to share certain other information with Cooks from Spain, such as, but not limited to, your name, profile picture, public profile information and your email address.

2.4 Storage of data
2.5 What personal data are required?
When you provide Personal Data, Koks from Spain will indicate whether it is required for the provision of specific services or functions. If required Personal Data is not provided by you, the specific features or services will not be made available to you.
2.6 Legal grounds for the collection of Personal Data
Koks from Spain collects and processes your Personal Data on different legal grounds, depending on the nature of the Personal Data provided and how it is processed. More information on this can be found below.
– Performance of a Contract
Most of the Personal Data processed by Koks from Spain is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to take steps at the request of the user before entering into an agreement. An example of this is the link between Jobseekers and Employers by Koks from Spain.
– Legitimate interest
A second legal basis of Koks from Spain for other types of processing of your Personal Data is its necessity for the legitimate interests of Koks from Spain. An example of such a legitimate interest is the sending of marketing messages about our products and services, or if we believe there is a reasonable expectation that we will carry out a specific type of processing for you, or if such processing is strictly necessary to detect and prevent fraud. Koks from Spain will only invoke such legal grounds if an evaluation has been carried out which assesses the interests and rights of the parties involved and the processing is necessary for the provision of the services, products and functions.
– Compliance with a legal obligation
A third legal basis for certain forms of processing is where there is a need to comply with a legal obligation. An example of this is when Koks from Spain has to keep business records for fixed periods of time in order to comply with local legal requirements.
In some situations, Koks from Spain needs your permission to process your Personal Data. If Koks from Spain needs your permission to collect and process certain Personal Data, we will ask for your permission when you provide the data and this processing will only take place if you have given your permission. For example, your permission may be requested if you provide your location when using the Cooks from Spain Job Spotter or if you have set up a vacancy alert with Cooks from Spain.

Please also note that when you close your account as a Job Seeker, you may no longer have access to all Cooks from Spain products and may no longer be able to use the “Login with Cooks from Spain” feature on certain external websites.
Koks from Spain reserves the right to keep all materials in a closed account if this is necessary to protect its rights to the extent permitted by law (e.g. to keep a record of a dispute) or to comply with its obligations under local law (e.g. at the request of law enforcement officers). A closed account does not mean that all data will be removed from the systems of Koks from Spain, although they will not be directly available through the original account of the Job Seeker. When the Job Seeker clicks on the “Close My Account” button in the dashboard, Koks from Spain will start processing this order within 24 hours and Koks from Spain will complete it within 40 days.
