How does Chefs from Spain work?

In Northern Europe, we have a huge shortage of qualified staff in the hospitality industry. Chefs from Spain is a platform where, as a subscriber, you have direct access to our complete CV database. We translate candidates’ CVs into Dutch, English, German and Spanish.

It all starts with a subscription. You can then immediately create a full profile page and post your vacancies as often as you like. We post your vacancy(s) on our Spanish Facebook and Instagram pages with over 10,000 potential candidates and a message reach of over 150,000 per month.

We find the candidate

Chefs from Spain pre-selects and finds the right candidate for your vacancy. After a thorough selection process, interviews and reference checks, you will receive the candidate’s CV, meet him or her and have a final interview.

The candidate will be contacted via e-mail, WhatsApp video or Skype. You organise the application process yourself and with today’s communication tools, this is very easy.

Housing

The entrepreneur provides furnished accommodation, which can be up to 25% of net salary. He also provides transport to and from work (e.g. bicycle, train or public transport).

Bank account and health insurance

The employee provides an original international birth certificate to apply for a citizen service number. This is needed to open a bank account and take out health insurance.

Payment

As the employer, you are responsible for paying the salary. Chefs from Spain is not an employment agency and works very transparently. When a candidate starts working for you, you pay us 1 gross salary per month as a placement fee.

Subscription

If you want to use our services, we ask you to take out a subscription. You can then immediately post your vacancies and we will be fully informed of the cost of living, salary and other contract conditions (full-time employment). We will also start proactively recruiting candidates immediately. We do this both in person and via our social media channels.

Membership costs only €499.00 plus 21% VAT per year. This allows you to post an unlimited number of vacancies and we will immediately go to work to find the right candidate.
Our service does not stop when you sign up. We are not satisfied until you are!

No cure, no pay

Chefs from Spain works honestly and transparently. You only pay our fee on the first day after the trial period ( 30 days ). We are confident that we will find the right candidate for you. Often even faster than the maximum time we claim.
